Alicante Airport ALC
Alicante aiport has the code ALC and receives flights from nearly all Uk airports.
The time zone at Alicante is GMT +1 (GMT + 2 from the last Sunday of March to the last
Sunday of October). This airport also serves as a gateway to the Mediterranean coast.
There is a new terminal being constructed and is scheduled to be done in 2009. The
airport already has a terminal with small arrivals level on the lower floor.
Driving Directions to the Airport
From Alicante, take the Autovia Alicante-Murcia that leaves to the airport junction,
or you can also travel on the national road N340 to the airport. If coming from Benidorm
you will need to follow Autopista A7.
Bus Transport
The C9 public transport is scheduled hourly from/to Alicante central station for buses.
The other services go towards Murcia and Benidorm. The bus departure location at the
airport is located opposite the arrival hallway for passenger convenience.
You can also find useful helpdesks at the check-in area and in the departures area
of the airport, if you're looking at getting information on anything special. You will
also find facilities for the disabled traveller at a designated area that is situated
outside the terminal building.
